People who moved to Buffalo and Rochester said they liked the lower home prices but they were surprised by how old the homes are. They also found that winter weather, heating costs, and home repairs is a bigger challenge than they expected.

Yonkers Offers a Mix of City and Suburbs

Many people move to Yonkers because it is close to New York City. But some said they were surprised by the older buildings, limited parking, and how much neighborhoods can change from one area to another.
