The two champions in each division will play for the right to represent their division in the championship round.

Both the divisional championships and the overall league championship will be best-of-five series.  Should one team win both their first and second half divisional championships the second place overall team in that division would then move into the division championship round.

In the opening round the winner of the second half of the division will host games one and two with the remaining games at the home of the first half winner.  In the overall championship series the Western Division champion will host the first two games in even numbered years and the Eastern Division will host the first two games in odd numbered years.

According to information released by the Eastern League the first half of the season will end on the 76th day of the regular season and the second half of the season will begin on the 77th day of the regular season through the end of the regular campaign.  The Binghamton Rumble Ponies compete in the Eastern League's Eastern Division.
