Per the Rumble Ponies promotional schedule, Sunday afternoon's game against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats will feature a number of family-oriented events, but this Sunday's game will also feature a more unique event.

The Rumble Ponies will welcome not only your family and your dog, but New York Mets mascots Mr. Met and Mrs. Met.

His MLB. com profile makes some "interesting" claims -- such as his gigantic cranium has it's own gravitational pull, he is the MLB all-time leader in giving "high-fours", and that he may or may not actually be "Super Met". But one true fact is that in the year 2000, Mr. Met became Major League Baseball's first mascot to entertain fans in a different country. The Mets were playing a game at the Tokyo Dome in Japan, and Mr. Met came along for the ride.

The iconic mascots will be at Mirabito Stadium on Sunday to sign autographs and take pictures with fans.

And personally, I hope to see a few pictures of the dogs in the park trying to comprehend why there are giant baseballs walking around the stadium. I also hope that none of those dogs see the giant baseballs walking around and think they're giant toys for them.
