The unimaginable pain of a parent dealing with the disappearance of their child is a reality that many of us struggle to comprehend. The constant worry, the sleepless nights, the overwhelming anxiety - these are just a few of the things that run through a parent’s mind when their child is missing.

Those who have never had to face something so awful struggle to understand how a parent finds the strength to face each new day, to put one foot in front of the other, knowing that their child is out there somewhere, but where they do not know.

When a child goes missing, the kindness and compassion of others often keep a parent going. The thought that there are people out there who would join in the search, spread the word, and offer a helping hand provides a glimmer of hope in the darkness of uncertainty.

Since December 1, 2024, many children have gone missing in New York State, however, 12 of those children remain missing.

As a community, it is our collective responsibility to come together, to support those in need, and to do our part in bringing these missing children back to their families. By sharing their faces, spreading awareness, and being vigilant in our surroundings, we can be the hope that these families need.
