If you've recently bought string cheese, you might want to check your fridge because millions of packages of string cheese made by Kraft Foods and sold under the Kraft and Polly-O brands are being recalled because they can spoil before the dates on the packages.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration says a factory here in upstate New York is the place that produced the bad cheese. Production at the plant has been stopped and the company said it is investigating what caused the problem.

About 735,000 cases worth of cheese were shipped all over the country and have expiration dates from today through February 11, 2014. Several products are involved in the recall and you can see the full list of the cheese being recalled here.

If you have the bad cheese, don't eat it. Instead, return it to the store where you bought if and you can either exchange it for a new package or get a full refund.
