Madigan Gow Is Doing Great

You may remember the story of Madigan Gow from last year and how we were sending Valentines for Madigan. I saw her and her parents at the circus on Saturday. She looked awesome.

Madigan Gow was diagnosed with progressive congenital scoliosis in 2006. When she was 7 years old, she had her 12th (yes, 12th) spinal surgery on Valentine's Day, 2013. She is a strong, brave, incredible young lady. She's now up to 14 surgeries.

Madigan is about the same age as Tara. I realize how fortunate I am to have a healthy daughter.  We take this for granted and it's important that we remember those that aren't as lucky.

I'm kicking myself for not getting a picture with her. She was playing with a Bubble Gun and was having fun shooting bubbles at Tara and the rest of her friends. Madigan, I'm very proud of you and the strength you have. You are an inspiration to those who come in contact with you. God Bless You.
