Here's some encouraging news. Visions Federal Credit Union is supporting their communities through donations to various COVID-19 relief organizations. They have donated over $60,000 so far and here are some of the local areas that have benefited from their generosity:

Broome County COVID-19 Community Response Fund NY
Tioga County Foundations Coalition Emergency FUND, NY
Susquehanna COVID-19 Assistance Fund PA
Central NY Community Foundation COVID-19 Community Support Fund NY
Tompkins County Community Foundation COVID-19 Response Fund NY

Visions employees have been helping out too. They raised over $11,000 in donations to benefit local food banks through their Denim Days program. The employees wear jeans on Fridays in exchange for a $5 donation from their paychecks.

The employees have also raised enough money through their Kindness Cafe program to give 250 hot meals to the front-line medical staff at UHS hospitals.

Visions Federal Credit Union is also honoring Visions Cares sponsorship commitments to local organizations whose events have been canceled or postponed due to the pandemic. They are looking to help nonprofits as their fundraising events have been hit hard in the last couple of months.

While many of us are feeling down at the moment, it's great to see the positive things that are happening in our community. Thank you Visions and keep up the great work.
