The ACM awards took place last night, and boy did they deliver. It was a night full of amazing live performances and remembrance of the victims of the Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting.

A rainy. dreary week is ahead of us, so here's my jams to get you through the week.

Miranda Lambert cleaned up at the ACMs last night, and no one was really surprised. She is on fire and her new single "Keeper of the Flame" proves that. I am a huge fan of her songs "We Should be Friends" and "Vice." "Tin Man" fell flat for me, but her new single off her double album is amazing. A song about trailblazing and keeping traditionalism alive is perfect for Miranda.

Chris Janson closed the ACM awards. Again, Chris Janson closed the ACMs! That is a huge spot for a guy who is just hitting his stride. I was wondering when we would see Chris on the broadcast, and then realized he was closing down the party and had no idea what song he was going to sing. Then he came out and tore the house down with "Redneck Life." I had heard about how energetic Chris could be at his shows, and saw that come to fruition last night. He performed his honky-tonk ode to being a redneck 'Redneck Life,' a perfect way to close country's biggest party.

Toby Keith took the stage with Blake Shelton to perform "Should've Been a Cowboy," so naturally that had to be my throwback jam of the week. His debut song hit No. 1 on the Billboard charts AND was the most played country song of the 1990s!
