Jay’s Monday Jams

It's looking like we will get a preview of summer temperatures this upcoming weekend. It's only Monday, but I am looking forward to a few nice sunny days. Let's get through the week together with what I'm listening to!

There's no secret that I adore Kenny Chesney. I was actually unsure of this tune at first, but it was definitely a slow-burner and it grew on me. Kenny has recently been pumping out some anthemic songs recently, and "Get Along" is primed to be a huge summer sing-a-long hit.

Ryan Hurd and Maren Morris finally tied the knot a few weekends back, and a big congratulations to the country power couple. I have been a fan of Hurd ever since I heard 'Love In a Bar," but his new song "Diamonds or Twine" is equally as good. He wrote this song for Maren AND played it for her the night they got engaged. A love song about loving someone no matter what the circumstances.

I am really stretching my "throwback" option this week. Every now and then I am reminded Tim McGraw can still get a little twangy, and "Truck Yeah" is just that. Now I know its only from 2012, but it is a great driving song and some what of a "throwback." Fun Fact: Chris Janson had a hand in writing this jam.
