Here we are, the first real full week back to work. The Christmas shine has worn off, and New Year's Eve is a distant memory. It's Monday so it's time to give you some jams to get you through the week.

Luke Comb's album "This One's for You" is full of amazing country music. His first two smash hits "Hurricane" and "When it Rains, It Pours" just show how versatile this guy really is. His new single "One Number Away" brings back that haunting background tune similar to "Hurricane." It tells a story of a guy whose just one digit away from calling a past lover just to hear her voice. Enjoy!

We've recently seen a trend in country with longtime songwriters coming to light. The rise of Ryan Hurd, Maren Morris, and Chris Stapleton has given us some of the most talented artists in all of music. Steve Moakler is just that. He has written for Dierks Bentley, Jake Owen, Eric Church etc etc. He scored a minor hit with "Suitcase" of his album "Steel Town" and that is an amazing jam within itself. The song "Love Drunk" is my favorite song of the album. It got a funky little beat to it and I've actually seen people line dance to it at Touch of Texas.

There has been a whole bunch of Martina McBride being played around the sales office lately, so "Independence Day" is my throwback jam of the week. Martina's voice is so unique and cannot be compared to anyone else in the country world!
