Here's your chance to help out a really good cause and enjoy Syracuse Men's Basketball at the same time. This Saturday, December 1st, it's the Syracuse University Sport Management Club's 14th Annual Charity Sports Auction.

It'll take place in the backcourt of the Carrier Dome when the Men's Basketball team take on Cornell University at 8 p.m. The beneficiary of the auction will be the Rescue Mission.

They are an organization that has been fighting to end homelessness and hunger across Upstate New York including Binghamton, Syracuse, Auburn and Ithaca since 1887.

Their mission is to end hunger and homelessness. Last year, the Rescue Mission served more than 282,000 meals and helped over 10,000 men, women and children in the community.

The proceeds from this event will remain in Upstate New York, and will directly serve those in need through safe beds and warm meals. You must have a ticket for the game for access to the auction.

So if you're going to the Carrier Dome to see the Orange in action, then why not go early (or stay late) and see all the different items that will be available. You can help out those who need your help during the holidays and all year long.

Let's Go Orange and let's help out the Rescue Mission.
