The Rumble Ponies began their homestand against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats on August 13. After splitting the doubleheader, Binghamton was looking for a decisive victory on August 14.

Through the first three innings, the game remained scoreless. It wasn't until the top of the fourth that Christian Williams broke the tie. His ground ball single to right field helped bring in Chad Spanberger to give New Hampshire the one-run lead.

Binghamton had a chance to possibly tie or take the lead in the bottom of the ninth but to no avail. A low scoring affair ends in a 1-0 shutout victory for the Fisher Cats. As a result of this defeat, the Rumble Ponies sit at 500 with a 60-60 record overall. The team will look to bounce back on August 15 at 6:35 P.M.
