It was "Take Me Back Tuesday"  with a Jurassic theme at NYSEG Stadium. After winning a double-header matchup the previous night, the Binghamton Rumble Ponies wanted to keep the pressure on the Erie SeaWolves.

Patrick Mazeika would get things started for Binghamton as he would single a line drive to right field and bring in Luis Carpio for the first run of the game in the bottom of the first. Immediately after at the top of the second, Kody Eaves doubles to center, scoring Frank Schwindel and tied the game.

Erie's scoring would erupt at the top of the third inning. First, it was Schwindel with a ground-rule double scoring Cam Gibson and Jose Azocar. Next, a wild pitch was thrown by Tommy Wilson allowing Josh Lester to cross home plate. Finally, Cole Peterson singled a ground ball to first, issuing another score for Schwindel and giving the SeaWolves a 5-1 lead.

At the top of the fourth, Erie was still feeling the flow. Azocar doubled on a line drive to left as Luke Birch comes in. Azocar would later be the recipient as Schwindel grounded to Carpio throwing to first base for the out. Lester would be the final man to return home off of the Eaves line drive single to right field. After three and a half innings, the SeaWolves were ahead by a score of 8-1.

Ali Sanchez doubles to center in the bottom of the fifth, has Carpio run home and helps make it an 8-2 ballgame. Chace Numata out on a sacrifice fly to right ended up scoring Peterson and Sergio Alcantara, making it a 10-2 Erie lead.

Binghamton had a few sparks of life in the bottom of the ninth. Quinn Brodey was hit by a pitch that causes Barrett Barnes to walk home. Carpio grounded into a double play, bringing in Will Toffey. Lastly, Sanchez scores Braxton Lee off his line drive to center.

Unfortunately, the Rumble Ponies couldn't complete the comeback and lose by a score of 10-5. Binghamton drops to 38-33 overall, but even though they may be a "little-saur" after this game, they will have another chance on June 26. It will be the second double-header of this series with the first game slated to start at 5:35 P.M.
