It was the second double-header of the series for the Rumble Ponies against the SeaWolves. After winning their previous double-header on June 24 at NYSEG Stadium, Binghamton hoped to do the same on June 26.

Erie was prepared to not let that happen in the first game as Isaac Paredes got the first run of the ballgame thanks to a sacrifice fly to center off the bat of Frank Schwindel. Soon after Josh Lester would hit a homer to right center field, scoring both he and Jose Azocar. Lastly, the SeaWolves would bring Sergio Alcantara home thanks to a line drive double to right field from Chace Numata, bringing the total score of at the top of the first inning to be 5-0 in favor of the visitors.

Erie would continue their scoring in the top of the fifth with a home run to right field from Cam Gibson, making it a 6-0 lead. At the top of the sixth, Kody Eaves scores on the sacrifice fly from Numata. Luke Burch grounded one to right to send Alcantara in for an 8-0 lead for the SeaWolves. Paredes would reach on a fielding error from Will Toffey allowing Gibson and Burch to bump the lead to 10-0. The Rumble Ponies would not be able to score a run in game one, resulting in a loss of 10-0. Binghamton would look to split the matchup and take game two.

In the second bout of the evening, Dustin Houle doubled on a line drive to right field, scoring Braxton Lee to give the Rumble Ponies the early lead in the bottom of the second inning. At the top of the fourth, Alcantara singled on a fly ball to right to have Lester return home and tie the game. At the top of the fifth, Paredes would send Burch home on an RBI single to give the SeaWolves the 2-1 lead.

Once again, Binghamton couldn't close the gap and lose game two by a final score of 2-1. The Rumble Ponies have gone 2-6 in their last eight games at home. Their record falls to 12-23 at home and 38-35 overall. The next game for Binghamton will be on the road against the Curve in Altoona on June 27 starting at 6:30 P.M.
