Here’s What You Need To Know! The Visions Veterans Memorial Arena Is Rocking This Weekend
Who says that there is nothing to do in Broome County? This weekend is two St. Patrick's Day parades including the Hibernian (Binghamton) St. Patrick's Day parade on Saturday and the Hillcrest St. Patrick's Day parade on Sunday.
Competitive Cheerleading Championships At Visions Veterans Memorial Arena
The Binghamton Black Bears are on the road this weekend but the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena will be hopping on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday, March 4th is the NYSPHSAA Competitive Cheerleading Championships. Doors open at 8 a.m. with Session 1 beginning at 9 a.m. and Session 2 starting at 2 p.m.
If you plan on going on Saturday, you are asked to avoid Front Street while driving downtown because of the Binghamton St. Patrick's Day parade. The parade proceeds through Court Street and there will be street closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Section IV Class A and Class B Boys and Girls Basketball Finals Schedule
Sunday, March 5th, it's the Section IV Boys and Girls Basketball Class A and Class B finals beginning at 12 p.m. Doors open at the arena at 11 a.m. and the schedule is as follows.
12 p.m.- Class B Girls Final - Newark Valley vs Chenango Forks
2 p.m.- Class B Boys Final - Owego vs Chenango Forks
4 p.m. - Class A Girls Final - Union Endicott vs Maine Endwell
6 p.m. - Class A Boys Final - Horseheads vs Johnson City
Remember that ticketing is cashless only for both day but your cash (or card) will be good at the concession stand. Good luck to all the competitors this weekend.
