This brings a tear to my eye as Chuck E. Cheese is going to say goodbye to its iconic animatronic band. They aren't going completely away because five locations in the country will keep these classic characters, and two of them are here in New York!

A Nostalgic Goodbye: Animatronic Band Takes its Final Bow

The animatronic band has been a major part of Chuck E. Cheese for years and it brings back so many fantastic memories. Who can forget the likes of Chuck E. Cheese himself, Helen Henny, Mr. Munch, and Jasper T. Jowls? They've entertained kids and adults alike for as long as we can remember.

Why the Change?

Why is Chuck E. Cheese doing? They want to keep up with the times with cooler entertainment options and offer a more interactive experience for everyone.

New York's Remaining Animatronic Band Locations

The good news is that two of the remaining five locations with the animatronics band will be in New York. But the big question is will one of them be in the Southern Tier? It doesn't look like it, as Hicksville and  Nanuet will have the Chuck E. Cheese animatronic band. So if you feel like taking a drive, you won't have to go too far.

Preserving Treasured Memories

We know that change is going to happen, but the memories we have with Chuck E. Cheese's animatronic band will leave a special place in our hearts. This will be especially true for those of us that grew up hanging out with these almost life-like characters.

Thank you Chuck E. Cheese! As we remember the good ol' days while making new memories too.
