Christmas for the Vets Event at Touch of Texas on Friday
There is a lot of exciting things going on at Touch of Texas and we are so glad to be a part of it all. Easton Corbin will be at Touch of Texas on Saturday, January 26th and all this week, the Hawk Morning Show will have your chance to win tickets at 6:30 am and Jay Franiak will have your chance to win at 4:40 pm.
We'll be asking an Easton Corbin trivia question and if you give us the correct answer, you'll win a pair of tickets to the show. The best part? This contest is what we call an Open Book Quiz, where we give you the answer. All you have to do is keep this article handy and you'll know the answer to whatever question we ask!
It's also been announced that Joe Nichols will be returning to Touch of Texas on Friday, March 15th. Joe Nichols was actually my daughter, Tara's first concert. She doesn't remember it because she was only a few weeks old, but now that she's a teenager, I can't wait to take her to see him again- this show, I know she'll remember. If you're looking for more information on the Joe Nichols show, you'll find it here.
As great as these shows are, we think the event happening this Friday night, December 21st is even more incredible. This Friday night, it's the Christmas for the Vets event at Touch of Texas where there will be three bands - Smashing Atom, Trace of Life and The Keel.
You'll save $1 at the door when you bring a personal care item donation which will be given to local veterans who need a little helping hand this holiday season. Touch of Texas is specifically requesting that you bring personal care items like socks, combs, shaving cream, disposable razors, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and shampoo.
In addition to the personal care products, Touch of Texas will also donate half of the door proceeds to our local veterans. Doors will open at 6 p.m. Admission to the Christmas for the Vets event will be absolutely free for veterans who are able to show proof of military service.
If you'd like to learn more about the show, you can do that here.
