Celebrating National Prayer Day
The first Thursday in May is National Prayer Day and this year's theme is Pray for America - Love One Another, from John 13:34 "Love one another. Just as I have loved you."
We are being challenged to mobilize in unified public prayer for America with 4 prayer priorities. Many have lost hope and don't see much of a future. They've lost hope for their country and culture. Some feel that their is no future for our children but I've got some good news.
I've read the book and I know how it ends. If you're a Christian, you win. I hold on to that all the time and If you're not, then I'll leave it up to you to decide. I know a really good prayer, that can help you to the winning side.
So take a moment today and pray. Sometime it's nice to know that you can talk to someone that will listen and not tell everybody else. Someone that has your best interest in mind.
If you're looking for a place to pray on Sunday, I encourage you join to me at Bridgewater Church in Conklin or online, they have three services at 8, 9:45 and 11 a.m. If not, that's okay, just find a place to pray because prayer doesn't cost you a dime.
Try prayer, if you don't like it, your money back guaranteed. If you like it, keep it and you'll have something that will last an eternity. Now that deserves an "Amen."
