As we approach the one-year anniversary of the coronavirus pandemic, many of us feel like we aren't a lot closer to the end of this. We hear reports from the World Health Organization that the pandemic may not end in 2021 and we start to feel like nothing is going to change.

If we can't change what's going on around us, then change what's going on in us. Life may make you feel like you are being buried, so this is where you can make a change.  Instead of feeling buried, think of it as being planted. What's the difference?

The difference between being buried and being planted is...What you expect to happen next. When you're buried that's about it but when you are planted, it's the beginning, not the end.

It's like an apple seed, it'll never come to life until it's planted. After some time and work, it'll bust through the dirt and produce "fruit." Do you feel like the dirt is all over you? Shake it off and keep shaking. Shake off the dirt, stand on it and let it take you higher.

So change the way you face these difficult times and don't let it bury you. Think of yourself as being planted for something better and it'll change everything. It's kind of like a lump of coal and a diamond.

The difference is the amount of pressure that it went through but the end result is so much better. You may be down but you aren't out and in the end, you'll have more to show for it.
