Boeheim's Army is ready to march towards another title in this years, The Basketball Tournament (TBT). The #2 seed team began slowly on Monday night and fell behind by 11 points in the first quarter to #7 seed Team Gibson.

They eventually took care of business with a 99-83 victory to advance to the semi-final Syracuse regional at the Upstate Medical University Arena at the Oncenter War Memorial. Boeheim's Army took the title in 2021 but lost to The Nerd Team 81-74 in the second-round last year.

Boeheim's Army Looking For Revenge Against The Nerd Team

Now they'll get a chance to get their revenge against the #3 seed The Nerd Team and advance towards the title and a winner-take-all $1 million first place prize. They'll return to the hardwood on Wednesday night at the Oncenter beginning at 8 p.m. If you can't make it to the game, you can watch it on ESPN+.

Boeheim's Army has 12 players on it's roster including six Syracuse basketball alumni (Jimmy Boeheim, Andrew White III, BJ Johnson, Paschal Chukwu, Christ McCullough, Rakeem Christmas), along with six other guys who competed with other college teams.

Jimmy Boeheim (forward), include Andrew White III (wing), BJ Johnson (small forward), Paschal Chukwu (center), Chris McCullough (power forward) and Rakeem Christmas (power forward/center).

The Syracuse regional goes until July 28th with the winner advancing to the TBT quarterfinal round.
