Binghamton Sens Teddy Bear Toss is Saturday

The Hawk is very excited to help the Binghamton Senators this Saturday night collect new teddy bears for needy area children and the Broome Country Toys for Tots.  Look for Glenn, Traci and me at Saturday's B-Sens game as they host the Adirondack Flames at 7:05. Gates open at 6pm Saturday.

Fans are encouraged to bring a new teddy bear or new stuffed animal to Saturday's game and then toss them on the ice after the B-Sens score their first goal of the game.

If you need a stuffed animal to throw, Glenn, Traci and I will have about 30 stuffed lions to give away for free, while supplies last.  The Binghamton Senators will also be selling bears at a minimal cost, that can be used to help bring a smile to children in our area this holiday season.

The plan is to have Hawk staff go with some of the team to deliver as many animals as possible in person.  The rest will be donated to the Toys for Tots toy drive.
