Binghamton Mets At NYSEG Stadium This Weekend Against Trenton Thunder (Double A Yankees)
The Binghamton Mets began a 5 games in 4 nights series with the Trenton Thunder (Double A Yankees) last night. Trenton scored 2 runs in the 6th and that was it. Unfortunately the Mets didn't score at all and that was the final 2-0. To read what happened (and didn't happen), go here.
Tonight is a make up double header. If you have season tickets, it says 7:05. If you come then, you'll miss most of the 1st game. It's a special start time of 5:35. Tonight is Flatscreen Friday on Rivalry night at the Stadium. The Mets will be giving away a flatscreen TV every inning. They'll give away 10 flatscreens overall.
According to the Binghamton Met website, it's also a Yankee Swap night. Bring any old Yankee cap and trade it in for a brand new Binghamton Met cap. It all ends tonight with another firework show. Once again, FIRST PITCH TONIGHT IT AT 5:35.
Saturday is Broadway night at NYSEG Stadium. The Thunder wrap up their final visit of the year on Sunday. The NY Met mascot, Mr. Met, will make an appearance. It's a Kids Eat Free courtesy of 98.1 the Hawk. Sunday night ends with a Toyota Fireworks show.
