Binghamton Cleanup Weekend

Earth Day was a good day for me.  I talked with a lot of listeners today in the Binghamton area that delivered on their promise to do something on Earth Week.  Just because Earth Day is officially Friday (April 22), it doesn't mean you can't do something this weekend or everyday in the year for that matter.

A number of listeners are joining the downtown Binghamton cleanup efforts this weekend. To join, just show up in the downtown Binghamton area Saturday around 9am or near the train tracks by the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel on the Riverwalk.  My friend Sharon is heading this effort again to keep downtown Binghamton and various points near the area, clean.  Sharon is awesome.

It's also opening weekend at the Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park, with the zoo open from 10-4 each day.  Saturday is World Penguin Day and a Party for the Planet.  Click HERE to find out more Earth Weekend fun going on at the Binghamton Zoo.
