The coronavirus pandemic brought everything to a sudden halt about three months ago. Things are slowly (to slow for me) coming back. We have plenty of events that have been canceled completely for 2020. So when we have positive news, we want to share it, and here's one.

The Binghamton Bulldogs got exciting news and they'll be starting up their summer day camps soon. If you don't know who the Bulldogs are than you are missing out. They are part of a minor league basketball organization with 160 teams throughout the country called the ABA.

The ABA is two levels below the NBA (think Double-A baseball like the Binghamton Rumble Ponies) and it's full of former college standouts that are making their way to G-league (Triple-A basketball) and eventually the NBA.

The pandemic hit just as the playoffs had gotten underway and the rest of the season was canceled. They were going to host the ABA Elite 8 National Tournament & All-Star championship for 2020.

The good news is that they are going to host the 2021 ABA Elite 8 National Tournament & All-Star championship in April 2021. BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!

NYS Governor Andrew Cuomo's office told the Binghamton Bulldogs directly that the day camps for 2020 will be permitted. They will be offering 3 different weeks of Monday to Friday camps from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

They know that many of you are struggling financially, so all summer camps will be at a reduced price. They plan on announcing dates and locations by this Friday, June 5th. Go here for the latest Bulldog news and let's get the kids out of the house and playing hoops.

Go Bulldogs and WOOF!
