Meow! The Cats & Kittens Are Everywhere And Waiting For You At Reduced Adoption Prices
Through the years, my family has adopted two dogs and several cats from adoption shelters. I wasn't sure if I really wanted to do that but the kids absolutely love the animals that we've had in our lives. It was one of the best decisions that I've ever made.
If you've been thinking about adopting a cat or dog for your family then you are in luck. This week, animal shelters around the country are participating in the "Empty the Shelters" National Adoption Event.
Broome County Humane Society's "Empty The Shelter" Event
This is a chance for approved adopters to get a dog or cat at a reduced adoption fee. The Broome County Humane Society in Binghamton is a participating shelter and if you are looking for a cat, they have plenty for you to choose from.
In fact, they are at maximum capacity with cats and kittens, so you'll be able to find a kitty that's perfect for you and your family. They are currently are caring for over 100 cats and you could say they are a little overwhelmed at the moment.
The BC Humane Society receives NO GOVERNMENT FUNDING and relies adoptions, donations and fundraisers. In fact, they are having a "Plants for Paws" going on right now.
