I'm torn on how I feel about this. On one hand I think it's a bit mean to kick someone when they're down, even if they brought it on themselves. On the other hand, Brian Williams did lie and you have to expect backlash if you're caught in a lie.

Just like every other minor league baseball team, the Akron RubberDucks (a Double-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians) pulls creative stunts to get fans into the stadium.

Their latest stunt takes full advantage of NBC newsman Brian Williams’ latest troubles. The team will host a "Brian Williams' Pants-on-Fire Night" on April 27th, which is National Tell a Story Day.

If you somehow missed the news, Williams was suspended six months without pay for allegedly embellishing accounts of his time covering the Iraq war and Hurricane Katrina, so the RubberDucks are giving the first 100 fans a pair of suspenders.

The team will also have a fan named Brian Williams "read tall tales" and a pair of his pants will be burned. And, any fan named Brian Williams will be allowed to throw out a ceremonial first pitch.

During the game, fans will play the game "two truths and a lie" between innings, but the RubberDucks have renamed it "two truths and a Brian Williams."
