A new era begins tonight at NYSEG Stadium with the Binghamton Rumble Ponies. They have a new name with a new mascot named Rowdy and a new look NYSEG Stadium.

Recently Traci and I talked to owner John Hughes and general manager Jim Weed. One of the things that they told us was that this is just the beginning and I believe them. John is bringing a new energy and dedication to the team and the area.

It's Thirsty Thursday courtesy of 98.1 the Hawk and you can enjoy a 2-for-1 beverage special. Come early for a special dedication at 5:15 and the first 1,000 fans will get a baseball with an Inaugural Season logo. Stick around after the game for the first Fireworks Night of the year.

The Erie SeaWolves come to town with first pitch at 6:35. Looking for a special gift for Mother's or Father's Day this year? Let the Rumble Ponies take care of that for you right now.

That's just a small part or what's going on at the ballpark this year and you can be a part of it. We'll see you at the park and let's get ready to rumble with the ponies.
