I don't know about you, but when I think of what the average 90-year-old would do to celebrate their birthday, I think of cake an ice cream with family before falling asleep in front of the television.

John Weston couldn't have celebrated his 90th birthday any differently. Weston is a veteran of the Royal Air Force in England and celebrated by flying on the wing of plane for charity.

Weston was a rear gunner during World War II and was outside on the wing of a 1942 Boeing-Stearman plane for 15 minutes and raised money for the Alzheimer’s Society in honor of his late wife.

The flight was pretty windy, but John said he was thankful nobody was trying to shoot him down while he was up there like they were the last time he did something like that.
