Get ready for a summer of music and fun in Oxford's Lafayette Park! 6 On The Square is bringing the community four free concerts every Sunday in July. It's the perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy some great music.

Every show will start at 2 p.m., so grab your friends, bring your chair or blanket, and get ready for an afternoon of music. If it decides to rain, no problem, the party will be moved inside.

The series kicks off on July 7th with the House of Hamill. Rose Baldino and Brian Buchanan first met on stage back in 2014 and have been making music together ever since. Bass player Caroline Browning has joined the House of Hamill and they are a festival favorite across the United States.

On July 14th, it's the Porch Party Mamas. They are from the Boston area and they  blend urban folk, country, and blues. They've shared the stage with legends like Willie Nelson, the Indigo Girls, and Lyle Lovett. With a wide range of instruments including guitar, fiddle, accordion, piano, and more, the Porch Party Mamas will have you dancing.

Mark your calendars for July 21st because Big Sky Quartet is coming to town with their  award-winning folk/roots sound. The band from central Pennsylvania has been performing original music for over 15 years. Their harmonies and infectious energy will have you on your feet.

Ending the concert series on July 28th is a performance by Sara Milonovich & Daisycutter. Sara is a talented singer-songwriter and fiddler from upstate New York, that started her musical journey at a young age. From forming her own band to touring with the likes of The McKrells and accompanying folk legend Pete Seeger, Sara is a master of her craft and a must see.

Bring your friends and family and come on down to Lafayette Park every Sunday in July. Check out 6onthesquare.org for more information.
