Do you know how much your friends hate when you talk in circles about your ex? They don't just hate it a little bit, they hate it with a passion- so much so that they probably go out of their way to avoid you so that they don't get trapped in a conversation that just goes round in circles.

There's a reason that your ex is your ex and there's an excellent chance that you two won't be getting back together. Sure, you can keep wallow and let the past suffocate you and prevent you from happiness or you can square your shoulders, set your eyes forward and find the person who is right for you. And by the way, you are good enough and you do deserve to be happy.

About half of ALL Americans say they've gone out of their way to avoid someone, whether it was a friend or a family member who had the tendency to go overboard when it comes to talking about relationship issues, especially the people who just aren't capable of moving on, no matter how long it's been.

On the other hand, maybe the reason these people can't get over the past is because they've not allowed themselves to fully embrace the healing process. So, who do you turn to when nobody else will listen? Instead of calling mom, you're probably better off giving one of your female friends a call because 30% of people say their family isn't any help and that they're actually more likely to dole out bad advice.
