Love isn’t just for Valentine’s Day. Love is for every day and if you are trying to find the best way to express your love to your partner, I am here to offer you some free help.

According to a recent survey by Casino.org, New Yorkers have a very specific love language and it is not Fuhgeddaboutdit. People from the Empire State say that their favorite expression of love is with acts of service and they prefer to express their love by showing their loved ones affection.

This means that we love to show our love through our actions. It could be baking them their favorite treat, taking care of their partner's most hated chore, or brewing up their favorite pot of coffee for them in the morning.

Quality time also has a special place in New Yorkers' hearts, and comes in second as our favorite way to get love. Couples in New York say they want undivided attention from their partner.

When it comes to the other love languages, physical touch and words of affirmation are tied for third place among New Yorkers.

So what comes in last when it comes to New York's love language preferences? Believe it or not but giving gifts ranks last. Another thing that is a little interesting is that gender and generational differences play a part in our favorite love language.

Millennials, Gen Z, and Gen Xers for the most part say that quality time is their love language of choice. Boomers, on the other hand, say that physical touch is their favorite expression of love. I say Ka-Boom to that.
