Sunday Summer Slam/Dick Longstreet Memorial 41 at FMP

Looking for something to do with your dad on Father's Day? How about an evening at track? It's the Sunday Summer Slam series along with the Modified 41 lap Dick Longstreet Memorial at Five Mile Point Speedway.

The Dick Longstreet Memorial is a tribute to a long time Southern Tier Late Model and Modified competitor, he was a top driver and he co-promoted the Penn Can Speedway in Susquehanna, PA.

The Longstreet Family put together the idea of the event and they provide most of the posted bonuses and extra purse money for this race. Racing begins at 6 p.m. with the top Modified drivers from all over the northeast expected at the quarter mile oval.

As always, kids 12 years old and younger are admitted FREE. You can also take advantage of the Family Five Pack Deal, it's two Adult tickets, three Senior/Students tickets, five hot dogs and five sodas for only $40.

The Modified 41 lap feature will start no later then 9 p.m but could be earlier if they get early cloud cover. Go here to see the entire schedule of events, directions, pricing and any updates.
