Sunday Summer Slam at Five Mile Point Speedway

It is on this SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY, it's round three of the Modified Summer Slam at Five Mile Point Speedway. Anthony Perrego is two for two in the series so far and looks to make it three in a row. His most recent win was in the Dick Longstreet Memorial 41 lap special.

Joining the Modifieds will be the return of the Summer Slam Wingless Sprints for the second time. The Crate Sportsman, Street Stocks and the Front Wheel Drive Fantastic Five for Four Cylinders will also be on the bill.

This is the third of four races for the Sunday Summer Slam with the last one on Sunday, September 16th, so save the date.

The area's best drivers in all of the divisions will have at it with the Pit gates opening at 3: 30 p.m., grandstand gates at 4 p.m. Practice begins at 5 p.m. and the green flag will fly beginning at 6 p.m.

It promises to be a great day and night of racing with temperatures in the mid 60's on Sunday evening. You won't want to miss the speed and grace of the Wingless Sprints as they make their second ever appearance at FMP.
