It’s county fair season and here at The Hawk we know there’s no such thing as too much summer fun!

If you’re looking for a down-home good time this weekend, take a quick drive over to Owego between today, July 8th and July 12th for the Tioga County Fair! Admission is free until 5pm today, July 8th (seniors free all day!) and if you just couldn’t make it through that 16-inning B-Mets game on the Fourth of July, you can catch a 9pm fireworks display at the fair.

These are the small-town memories you’ll remember spending with your family and friends, and with carnival rides for the kids and young at heart, 4-H shows all week, horse races, tractor pulls, an archery tournament, two demo derbies, and a Lumberjack competition, there will be no shortage of stories to tell and warm-fuzzy feelings to be felt for years to come!

As if you didn’t have enough reasons to love New York, let the Tioga County Fair take a special place in your heart! Admission is $8.00 and includes free rides, and unless you’re opposed to smiling uncontrollably (we get it - sometimes it can make your cheeks hurt after a while!), there’s no reason you shouldn’t mark your calendars for this event! For a full list of events, check this out. Maybe we'll see you there!
