Maine Memorial Students Get Early Christmas Surprise

Christmas will be a little brighter for some lucky students at Maine Memorial, thanks to Union Center Christian Church.  Hundreds of shoeboxes filled with everything from school supplies to candy and Winter clothes were given out to every student as an early Christmas gift.

According to the Union Center Christian Pastor, Blake Shipp, they decided to keep the gifts in the Town of Maine this year, instead of sending them overseas.  He and his congregation is happy to have surprised students this year and hopes it will carry a positive message to members in the Maine community.

Hats off to the Union Center Christian Church for touching all of us with this great message of hope this Christmas.  Operation Maine Memorial was a huge success.
