This week we were invited to help Building Manager and FEMA Response Team Member, George Miller and Jim Willard of The Impact Project, restore a house for a local woman in need. I spent time painting, spreading mulch, and building fences.

While trying not to cut off fingers, paint inside the lines, and make a huge mess with wood chips, I was privy to the great feeling helping someone in need! It was great hanging out with all the high school students that volunteered their time today to some great stuff in our community!

Jim and George were great to work with, and my Director, Ashley and I will be going back off camera to help out even more in the near future!

Check it out in the video below.

Now that you’ve seen a few episodes of Odd Jobs, it’s YOUR turn to submit a job for me to do. I will jump into a clean job just as quick as I will hop into a sewer, so all of your suggestions are welcome for our next Odd Jobs episode!

Email me and let me know what it is you have in mind and what I should be wearing for the shoot. Don’t forget to include your contact information as well! Send your ‘odd’ jobs to Rich@981thehawk.com.
