If you're planning that wedding and want to help out a good cause at the same time, you might want to check out "Brides Against Breast Cancer," a national nonprofit that tours the country donating wedding gowns with the proceeds directly going towards programs and services for people who are impacted by cancer.  The Johnson City YMCA hosts a tour stop on May 9th.

Brides Against Breast Cancer contributes to programs for cancer patients and their families. Through their outreach and educational efforts, they take their “Nationwide Tour of Gowns” bridal shows around the country to help ensure that people impacted by cancer have the resources and information they need in their battle with cancer.

The event takes place Saturday May 9th from 11am-1pm at the YMCA, 740 Main Street in Johnson City.
