I have many fond memories of summer camps.  Enjoyable for kids because it keeps you active and equally enjoyable for parents because it gets the kids out of the house.  There are a number of camps starting soon in the Binghamton area.

ART CAMPSRoberson's Summer Camps:  Roberson Museum and Science Center at 30 Front Street Binghamton is offering quite a few camps including "Get Your Game On," for grades 2-5, and a Drawing and Animation Camp with focus on script, film and stop-motion short film.  Contact Roberson for more information at (607) 772-0660.

DAY CAMPSConklin Raiders All-Day Camp operates Monday thru Thursday from 9am-3pm at Schnurbusch Park on Conklin Road in Conklin.  Call (607) 775-4775 for more information.  Path of Light Day Camp in Port Crane is for grades K-6 and features swimming lessons, horseback riding, crafts and more Monday thru Friday from 9am-3pm. SPORT CAMPSBasketball Shooting and Conditioning Camp is presented by the Vestal Recreation Department and is for grades 7-12 and takes place at Vestal High School from 3-4:30pm.  Girls Field Hockey Camp is for grades 1-8, also taking place at the Vestal High School.  Call (607) 754-3368.
