It wouldn't be summer in the Southern Tier without Binghamton's annual summer festival, July Fest.

July Fest is absolutely free and scheduled for today, July 11th through Sunday the 13th. At the 52nd annual event, you'll enjoy craft and food vendors and artists from around the region on Court Street and adjoining blocks.

Entertainment will also be part of July Fest with music from Prime Time Funk, Splash, the Tom Bronzetti Quartet, the Doug Beardsley Quartet, Glenda Davenport. and more.

If you've got kids, they'll love the bigger and better children's area planned for this year featuring arts and crafts, face painting and other fun activities from the Magic Paintbrush Project.

If you're a runner, the Parlor City 5K Run will return for its sixth year on Saturday July 12th, starting at 9am on the Court Street Bridge and finishing at the festival.

July Fest 2014 kicks off at 10am on Friday July 11th and ends for the night at 11pm. The festival will be open Saturday July 12th from 9am-10pm and Sunday July 13th from 10am-5pm.
