Labor Day is less than a week from today and if your employer is making you work, it might make you feel a little bit better to know that you're not alone.

Even though Labor Day is the one day every year when most of America's workers look forward to kicking back, relaxing and eating a bunch of food, a lot of companies are nixing that.

39% of businesses say they'll be making at least some of their employees work next Monday and with companies that have over 1,000 employees, 63% of them will be made to work compared to 29% for smaller businesses.

The most common industries that require people to work on Labor Day are health care, government, education, social services, and religious organizations. 61% of companies in those fields say they'll be making one or more of their employees to show up for work next Monday.
