If you know me, you know I love bacon. Heck, even if you don't know me, you probably know I love bacon.  I've loved bacon since before it was cool to love bacon. So in my quest to unearth all things bacon and all uses for bacon, I've found something you probably hadn't thought of- ways to use bacon fat.

Would you believe that bacon grease can be used for a bunch of delicious things?  The people at Guyism have composed a list of Eight Great Ways to Cook with Leftover Bacon Fat. Here are three of my favorite:

You can make salad dressing out of it: I totally vouch for this because I've done it a couple of times and the results have always been spectacular.  Check out my special recipe for warm bacon salad dressing.

You can improve breakfast with it: I’ve done this and if you haven’t tried it, why not?  Try cooking your pancake or waffle batter in bacon fat instead of butter for a very complete breakfast treat. Fried eggs are especially delicious cooked in bacon fat.

You can drizzle it over popcorn: I haven’t tried this, but I do love popcorn and I do love bacon and I especially love the suggestion Guyism gives “you can even drizzle the rendered bacon fat over your popcorn and then sprinkle crumbled bacon all over it and watch it stick to the fat that it now covers like a warm taste blanket.”
