Forrest Gump is one of my favorite movies and there are so many unforgettable lines. But if you were to ask anyone to quote a line from the movie it probably would be "life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what your gonna get."

That is certainly true today with rising gas, heating and food prices, along with the rising crime rate. Just turn on the news for a few minutes and you'll be ready to go back to bed and pull the covers over your head.

We feel the stress of life everywhere then we turn to chocolate to help us feel better. Well today (November 29th) is your day because it's National Chocolates Day. So let's think chocolates because your choice of chocolate says a lot about you

What Chocolate Says About You

Chocolate-Covered Nut: It means that your the mainstay of the family and can be counted on to solve any problem. My guess was that you are the nutty one in the family, both could be true I suppose.

Creme-Filled: You take pride in an old-fashioned lifestyle (I'm thinking Warren Center, Pa) and reminds you of your parent's values (once again, Warren Center). I like the burst of energy that I get when I bite into that sugar creme-filled goodness.

Dipped Fruit: It means that you're kooky and you swim against the tide of trendy thought. I love dipping fruit in chocolate or anything else for that matter. My mom got a chocolate fountain one time when I came to visit for the holidays.

What could possibly go wrong with that? We started with fruit but it changed into anything edible. The chocolate fountain was gone for the next get-together...I guess that we were too kooky.

Milk Chocolate: Did you know that eating milk chocolate can improve your brain activity. A study from Wheeling Jesuit University in West Virginia showed that milk chocolate had a positive impact on memory, attention span and reaction time.

Truffles: You think that you deserve the best for yourself and others around you. You love to volunteer and your spirit of generosity isn't just for the ones that you love but to everyone.
