Tweet this.  People may be getting bored with tweeting and Twitter in general.  According to Robinson Meyer and Adrienne LaFrance in TheAtlantic.com, "Twitter is entering its twilight."  While 14 million new "monthly active users" were added, the growth is incredibly slow and is concerning Wall Street.

Twitter is definitely "in trouble," said Andrew Leonard in Salon.com. "When your growth in user numbers starts to slow before you are anywhere near sniffing a profit, investors get worried."  And Twitter stock continues to tumble.

But Twitter loyalists should not give up just yet.  As long as advertising venue increases, Twitter may be just fine.  It's also possible that the platform will change and attract more regular of new users.
