It’s Tidbit Tuesday- where I share three little tidbits with you to make life a little easier.  Today I’ll tell you how to boost dryer efficiency, double the life of bar soap, and slip your hips in seconds.  So grab a cup of coffee and learn how to make life a little simpler!

Boost dryer efficiency-Lately your clothes dryer has been taking forever to get the job done, even though you clean the lint-trap screen after each load. The probably culprit: lint caught inside the machine. But you can get things up to speed again with a pair of chopsticks. Just pull out the lint screen and use the utensils to pluck any wayward fluff out of the slot, then replace the screen. You’re all set.

Double the life of bar soap- To double the life of bar soap, try this: Each time you place new soap in the shower, unwrap a second bar and stash it in the linen closet. Exposure to air will evaporate moisture within the bar; causing it to compress so it will last longer. Plus, the soap will keep your linens and towels smelling fresh.

Slim your hips in seconds-Pants and skirts with lined front pockets can add unwanted weight to your hips. To look thinner in a snap, just cut out the linings and sew the pocket seams shut, creating a smooth, bulk-free line.
