It's Tidbit Tuesday- where I share three little tidbits with you to make life a little easier.  Today I'll tell you how to solve sticky problems, double the life of your razor and keep your feet free of fungus.  So grab a cup of coffee and learn how to make life a little simpler!

Solve sticky problems by raising your hands- Been trying to come up with the perfect solution to a hard-to-solve problem – say, how to stretch your budget further each month? You’ll come up with an answer faster when you raise your hands with your palms facing upward as if they’re scales weighing two sides of your dilemma. According to a new study, the physical message of comparing different sides of the problem tells your brain to examine it from more than one perspective, allowing you to come up with a more creative resolution.

Double the life of your razor-To get your skin stubble-free without having to buy a new razor every week, grab a pair of old jeans and run your razor in one direction along the length of the leg 20 times. Then switch directions and repeat. Denim threads run diagonally, so this trick will catch and remove blade-dulling debris. Plus, the fabric ill absorb rust-causing moisture, keeping the blade sharp twice as long. Repeat after every three shaves.

Lavender keeps feet free of fungus- Thanks to lavender’s antifungal properties, adding 20 drops of lavender essential oil to a basin of hot water and soaking your feet for 20 minutes, twice weekly, can help fight off fungal woes like athlete’s foot and toenail fungus, say Portuguese researchers.
