The Broome County Humane Society is suffering just like everyone else during this coronavirus pandemic. They have been accepting food and on-line monetary donations but it's still difficult for them. So they are doing something new this week and want your returnable bottles and cans.

You can bring them to the BC Humane Society at 167 Conklin Avenue in Binghamton through Saturday, April 25th from 8 am. to 4 p.m. You can drop them off and they'll do the rest.

They want you to bring them when you are in the area and don't make a special trip because of the travel restrictions. They are hoping to raise over $1,000 by the time they are done on Saturday night.

By the way, you can still adopt cats and dogs from the Broome County Humane Society during the coronavirus pandemic. My family has adopted many cats from them and the two current Pitcher residents are Shane and Capricorn.

I think the cats are Paw-some and I'll be dropping off my donation later this week. My cats think it would be meow-nificent if you did too.
