A Southern Tier Holiday Tradition That Gives Back
For more than a decade, the Susquehanna Valley Teachers Association has been spreading holiday cheer in a way that also makes a lasting impact. Their annual Holiday Craft Fair and Bake Sale isn’t just about festive shopping and tasty treats, it’s about investing in the future. Proceeds from the fair go directly to scholarships for SV seniors who plan to pursue careers in education or health fields. It’s a simple way to support students who will one day give back to our communities in big ways.
When and Where the Holiday Fun Begins
This year’s craft fair takes place on Sunday, November 9, inside the Susquehanna Valley High School Gym in Conklin. Doors open at 9:00 a.m., and from the moment you step inside, you’ll be greeted by the sights, sounds, and smells of the season.
Discover Unique Gifts and Local Treasures
With more than fifty vendors setting up shop, there’s no shortage of treasures waiting to be found. Whether you’re hunting for one of a kind wood crafts, cozy holiday decorations, a stack of mystery books to curl up with, or fresh-baked goods that taste like home, you’ll find it here. The fair has become a go-to stop for anyone looking to kick off the holiday season while also supporting local makers and bakers.

Sweet Treats You Won’t Want to Miss
Let’s be honest, part of the fun of a holiday fair is the food, and the bake sale never disappoints. From cookies to breads to seasonal favorites, there’s always something to tempt your sweet tooth. It’s the kind of table you want to stop by before you leave, because those treats disappear fast.
Calling All Crafters and Bakers
If you’re a crafter, baker, or small business owner looking to share your creations with the community, vendor applications are still available. Just send an email to thoward@svsabers.org to get started. Spots fill quickly, so don’t wait too long to sign up.

A Community Event With Heart
The SVTA Holiday Craft Fair and Bake Sale is more than just another seasonal event. It’s a chance to gather, shop, and celebrate, all while helping the next generation of Sabers take their first steps toward a meaningful career. So bring a friend, bring your holiday list, and bring your appetite, you won’t leave empty handed.
