Saving On Back-To-School Supplies

You may have noticed that July is a good month for school supply sales.  But if you're a procrastinator like me, then your procrastination could finally pay off....YAY, I knew if I kept putting things off, that it would finally pay off. You could actually get a better deal next month. 

First of all the list of Back-To-School supplies keeps going up. The average 2014 required school supply list now contains 18 items. That's nearly a 30% increase from last year.

Well, August could be a better month for you to shop and save. Many retailers, let you stock up on pencils for a penny or notebooks for a quarter and glue sticks for as low as a dime.

I remember going to the store and I told Tara to "have at it" and get all the pencils she wanted. She got 9. I guess she wanted one for every year old she is. Hey, it makes sense to me. Once again, the Ol Man is a hero.

They say "Good things come to those who wait." Of course, they say many things but in this case it worked out.
