The weather is turning and it's starting to feel a little more normal again. It's not what it once was but it's not as bad as a year ago when it felt like everything was canceled. Ross Park Zoo has taken quite a beating over the last twelve months.

Last year, they lost over 35% of their operating calendar and they want to turn things around in 2021. There are several things that you can do to help them get going again. Save these dates: Saturday, April 3rd and Sunday, April 4th.

Ross Park Zoo Eggstravaganza Weekend

That's when you'll have a chance to hop over to the zoo for their socially distanced Eggstravaganza. Your Easter weekend visit will have a "go at your own pace" scavenger hunt that all kids can participate in.

Your child will look for five colored eggs that will be hidden in animal habitats throughout the zoo. There is still a pandemic, so bring your own writing utensil, or you can just keep track of them on an adult's phone.

When everyone is done, just submit the answers on the way out and they'll get a prize pack that will include take home activities. Eggstravaganza will take place both days from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
