Fun One Day Getaway Idea: Discover Fascinating Animals at the Zoo in Syracuse
How lucky are we to live in an area that's smack dab in the middle of so many fun places? We've got Animal Adventure Park in Harpursville, the Ross Park Zoo in Binghamton, and the Bronx and Philadelphia Zoos are just about three hours from us. But, when was the last time that you visited the Rosamond Gifford Zoo in Syracuse?

I'm ashamed to admit that up until last month, I'd never even been to the Rosamond Gifford Zoo which is mind-boggling considering how close we live. I was so impressed that I called some family members who live in Albany and have small children and told them if they're ever interested in making a day of it, I'd gladly pack up my son and meet them there.
Whether you've never been to the Rosamond Gifford Zoo or you have but it's been a while and you'd like to see what the zoo looks like now, check out the photos I took during our visit!
